Gianluca Fiorentini

VOCALS, PIANO, SYNTHESIZER

Gianluca Fiorentini, born in Faenza in 1961, began singing as a child in the late 1960s and was soon recording in Milan for major Italian record labels throughout the 1970s.
He studied music and piano at the Conservatory of Bologna and quickly began performing across Italy and Europe with renowned folk and pop orchestras.

 

From the mid-1980s, alongside a prolific career as a piano-bar performer, he collaborated with an historic Roman label as arranger, composer, musical consultant and talent scout, nurturing new artistic projects.

 

In 2011, after meeting drummer Patrizio Pirrone, he began a long-lasting collaboration that has taken them around the world with successful live productions - including L’Italiano Orchestra - where Gianluca is the artistic and musical heart of the show: arranger, pianist, keyboardist and lead vocalist.

 

A musician of remarkable talent and sensitivity, Gianluca combines deep musical knowledge with a natural charisma that instantly connects with audiences.
His performances are a journey through melody, emotion and passion - the unmistakable signature of an artist who lives and breathes music.

Patrizio Pirrone

DRUMS

Patrizio Pirrone, born in Rocca di Papa (Rome) in 1986, began playing drums around the age of ten, learning both as a self-taught musician and under the guidance of several teachers.
He was trained “the old-school way,” playing along with his father’s records - from Creedence Clearwater Revival to Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis and Pérez Prado - developing a natural feel for rhythm, groove and energy.

 

After studying the classic methods of Gene Krupa and Buddy Rich, he gained early stage experience performing with local bands, dance orchestras and music ensembles of every kind.
Between 2008 and 2009 he lived in Ridgefield, Connecticut (USA), where he played with local bands between New York and Chicago, enriching his style through international collaborations.
 
Since 2011 he has shared the stage with Gianluca Fiorentini and then Viola Fiorentini, performing worldwide in hundreds of events and musical productions.
A passionate and versatile drummer, Patrizio embodies the joy of playing “from the heart” - with groove, authenticity and a smile.
He proudly endorses Canopus Drums, Amedia Cymbals, Vater Sticks, Attack Drumheads, Sonitus Kicker 2.0, Hardcase and Cympad.

Viola Fiorentini

VOCALS

Viola Fiorentini, born in Emilia-Romagna in 1988, grew up surrounded by music - listening to her father’s records and his piano-bar performances that filled her with melody and inspiration.
Her passion for singing and vocal expression began early, but it was in 2012 that she decided to move to the province of Rome, joining her father Gianluca Fiorentini and drummer Patrizio Pirrone as lead and backing vocalist in numerous live shows across Italy and abroad.

In 2015 she attended the creative and musical training school Officina Pasolini in Rome, studying with some of Italy’s most respected musicians and interpreters. She later continued with private vocal lessons to refine her technique and awareness, but it is her intense live activity that truly shaped her artistry - a constant source of growth, both musical and personal, through countless experiences in Italy and around the world.

Deeply moved by the power of the voice to awaken emotions, Viola finds her greatest artistic joy in touching hearts and creating genuine connections with every audience.
Together with her lifelong partner Patrizio and their daughter Ambra, she continues to share the stage, and the music, as a way of life.

Marco Capozi

BASS

Marco Capozi, born in Rome in 1970, began his musical journey in 1978 under the guidance of Maestro Reginaldo Lucioli, exploring various instruments before dedicating himself exclusively to the electric bass in 1984. He further honed his skills studying with renowned musicians Tony Bowers (Simply Red) and Aston “Family Man” Barrett (Bob Marley).

Marco's versatile talent has led him to collaborate with a diverse array of artists, including Antonello Venditti, Gazebo, Franco Califano, Bobby Solo, and Edoardo Vianello. His musical versatility and stage presence have made him a sought-after performer in both Italian and international music scenes.

In 2005, Marco joined the legendary progressive rock band Il Balletto di Bronzo, contributing to their acclaimed live performances, including the DVD “Live In Rome.” His deep understanding of rhythm and melody has made him a key figure in the Italian music landscape.

Since 2016, Marco has been a member of Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, one of Italy's most iconic progressive rock bands. His contributions to the band's sound have been instrumental in their continued success and evolution.

Nicola Di Già

GUITARS

Nicola Di Già, born in Rome in 1972, grew up in a musical family, following in the footsteps of his father, a singer and orchestra leader. By the age of sixteen, he was performing regularly in dance halls and local bands, cultivating a passion for English pop music and expanding his musical horizons across various genres.

Over the years, Nicola has worked both in the studio and on stage, collaborating with a wide range of Italian artists. Between 1996 and 2000, he toured with prominent musicians linked to RCA Roma, including Francesca Schiavo and Anonimo Italiano, while also working on house music productions with the label ACV. In 2000, he began his collaboration with Nada, performing both live and in studio sessions.

A sought-after producer and sound engineer, Nicola has guided numerous Roman bands in the studio while continuing to tour with legendary groups such as Il Balletto di Bronzo. In 2012, he joined Il Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, contributing to live shows and studio recordings until 2023, leaving a lasting mark on the Italian progressive music scene.

Alessandro Raparelli

TRUMPET

Alessandro Raparelli, born in Frascati in 1976, began playing the trumpet at the age of seven, studying under Maestro Rosario Lacerenza, brother of Michele Lacerenza, renowned trumpeter of Ennio Morricone’s soundtracks.
 
Over the years, he attended numerous advanced courses, including Baroque trumpet workshops in 2007, jazz laboratories, and masterclasses, such as the 2022 program with Maestro Pierobon.

Alessandro has performed in national and international band concerts, building a reputation for precision, musicality, and versatility. In 2013 he earned his diploma in trumpet at the Conservatory of Vibo Valentia, and in 2014 completed a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Music, and Performance at the University of Tor Vergata, Rome, complementing his earlier degree in Economics and Commerce obtained in 2004.

Known for his dedication and expressive tone, Alessandro brings a dynamic and emotive presence to every performance, combining technical mastery with heartfelt musicality.

Errico Fucetola

ALTO SAX

Errico Fucetola discovered his passion for the saxophone at an early age. While attending his local oratory, a Sicilian trumpet teacher recruited him and other young musicians to join the town’s music band, marking the beginning of a lifelong journey in music.

Over the years, Errico expanded his expertise across multiple musical genres, developing not only his performance skills but also a strong interest in audio and sound engineering, enriching his already impressive musical knowledge.

For many years, he has been collaborating as a saxophonist with Gianluca Fiorentini, contributing his expressive sound and technical finesse to live performances and recordings.

Francesco Rossi

TENOR SAX

Francesco Rossi, born in Salerno in 1976, grew up immersed in the rich musical culture of southern Italy. He began studying the saxophone at a young age, blending influences from Italian folk, blues, funk, and pop music.

Over the years, Francesco developed a diverse career, exploring multiple musical styles while performing and recording across Italy. His artistry as a tenor saxophonist is characterized by expressive phrasing, melodic sensitivity, and a deep connection to his audience.

Currently, he performs with L’Italiano Orchestra, bringing his unique sound, experience, and passion to every live show.
